Play production

The production format for the play presentation follows the VR Kino+Theater structure. The actors perform on a VR stage fully immersed into a virtual set, while the director selects in real-time the views that are shown on the live movie projection screen.

Actors

The actors perform in a Situated Participatory Virtual Reality setting, which combines full body tracking in tangible spaces with real/virtual objects. Beside the VR Headsets, they use markers at various body locations for motion capture, enabling their avatar to be animated in CG. This scheme makes possible to create shared virtual environments for the presentation.

Director

The director controls a live image on the movie screen by selecting the active view using a special-purpose multi-camera switcher. Its interface contains the views of 12 pre-programmed cameras showing in real-time the CG simulation.
