Abstract:
This paper proposes the use of occluding and self-shadow boundaries for reducing the error in the SFS reconstruction. Based on the SFS approach proposed in [Hasegawa and Tozzi (1996)] it is shown that the inclusion of boundary information reduces the error without increasing the dimension of the system of equations and the computational efforts for its solution.
